The White Acres Farms wedding and event venue is a sincere labor of love that is family owned and operated. It is conveniently located within 30 minutes from Auburn, an hour from Montgomery and two hours from Birmingham. We purchased the 100 acres of wooded property in 2004 and began development while utilizing the trees to build structures for various farm animals, covered bridges and barns to accommodate our collection of reclaimed wood that we obtain from old homes and buildings. We stumbled upon an old red barn from the 1800’s on a plantation along the Troy highway that had been torn down and we decided to purchase it. The red barn was relocated to White Acres and reconstructed into a beautiful repurposed barn providing the perfect venue to host receptions and events. Our reception barn is 8,000 square foot which is climate controlled, decorated with beautiful crystal chandeliers, while offering a full bar and kitchen area.
The 5,000 square foot ceremony barn began as a storage facility for our reclaimed wood collection and farm equipment. When our son became engaged, they decided to have their wedding with wonderful views and a stunning sunset while creating a vintage elegant ambiance and we were honored they chose our farm. The ceremony barn quickly progressed into a rustic worshipful wedding chapel refined with reclaimed wood church pews and crystal chandeliers.
White Acres Farms has become a "dream come true" for us and we are thrilled to share our dream with you. Our brides, grooms and families tell us that they feel like they are a part of our family by the time their wedding day approaches. We adore our couples and treasure the relationships we develop with them over the course of their wedding planning. We continue to perform improvements and additions to our venue to make it a special place where our clients can create their dream wedding with memories that will last a lifetime.
