We are a family owned and operated, private-estate, wedding venue located just 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean in beautiful, Vista, CA. Surrounded by succulent and cactus nurseries as well as fruit and avocado orchards, The Slate Barn is a lovely, peaceful and private venue.
Our Garden Lawn, surrounded by mature, flowering trees, provides an intimate and romantic setting for your wedding ceremony. Our poolside patio, with smokeless fire pit, twinkle-lit trees and gazebo, offers a relaxing and festive atmosphere for cocktail hour and our slate gray, aluminum barn with roll-up doors, glowing market lights and treated, concrete floors creates a perfect canvas for you to design the wedding you have always envisioned.
