Shale Lake is a wedding destination with a Winery, rental Cabins (10) and a unique venue for wedding celebrations. The 2500 sq.ft. renovated horse barn is next to the Winery and can be expanded from an air conditioned indoor space to a 4500 sq.ft. indoor/outdoor space by opening the 8 original horse stall doors. The pasture serves as a beautiful setting that can be used for an outdoor ceremony. Plan an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception, an indoor ceremony with an outdoor reception, use the loft staircase for the grand entrance or walk the path to the giant Cottonwood tree…There are multiple options! The event space features a Bride's Dressing room, a Groom's room and a Service Kitchen for the Caterer. All events are two day rentals and include the equipment needed for up to 260 guests (Chairs, Tables, Dishware). The cabins are located around a 24 acre lake and sleep up to 40 guests. Set up the day before, clean up the day after...keep Calm and Wedding on! Shale Lake is located in Williamson Illinois just off of I-55, 37 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri.
