The Barn at Pickering House opened in July 2018 after a complete renovation. The Barn was built in the 1800s and retains many of its original features, yet offers the convenience of central air conditioning, heating, private bathrooms, a built-in bar and additional lighting.
Our unique downtown location means that you and your guests can stroll to restaurants, shops and Wolfeboro’s Lake Winnipesaukee waterfront before and after your wedding events. The Barn features 40' x 60' of open space with haylofts, a sweeping central staircase, rectangular and round farm tables, cafe-style chairs and assorted antique furnishings. We can accommodate up to 150 people for sit-down events.
When you book a wedding event at The Barn at Pickering House, the entire Pickering House property is reserved for you and your guests staying with us. All 10 Inn rooms are booked along with the Barn for your event. Because the property is closed to other guests, we limit the number of wedding events that we host each year.
