The Barn at Bournelyf is the sanctuary at Church of the Loving Shepherd, a non-denominational, community church located on 21 bucolic acres in Chester County PA. The grounds have an arboretum-like quality with a pond, a labyrinth, a butterfly garden, and ample parking. The Barn at Bournelyf (meaning Stream of Life) is a converted 1792 Pennsylvania Bank Barn. Available for use are the grounds, pond, gardens, sanctuary, historic Manor house, grotto, and multipurpose room. We are mainly a ceremony site (200 guests), Grotto (10 guests), outdoors (unlimited). Our reception capacity is only for small (<40 guests) weddings. We have cooperative agreements with complimentary historic reception sites in the area.
