Tanglewood Plantation is a GORGEOUS perfectly restored Greek Revival home which is available weddings, events, reunions, and corporate functions. Tanglewood is listed on the National Historic Registry and is perfectly situated only 2 miles from I95 and within a stones throw of the cities of Florence, Sumter, and Lake City, SC.
The grounds of Tanglewood Plantation include over 24+ manicured acres of centuries-old Magnolias, Spanish Moss, Cypress, and Pecan trees which will be exclusively used by the Bride/Groom on the Event Day. The property is graced with several historic Out-Buildings such as a Historic one-room schoolhouse that has been converted into the Grooms House AND a historic smokehouse that is the oldest structure in Lee County. Additionally, there are over 6500+ sq ft of Charleston style patios & fountains around the house which create an intimate atmosphere for cocktails and entertaining. We have added a commercial Caterers Barn that can easily accommodate any Caterer's needs, and an enormous pool & pool deck for entertaining. The Plantation Home itself is available for the bride on the Event Day and features 5 fireplaces, a bridal suite, a double living room, and a gourmet kitchen.
Tanglewood Plantation has relationships with caterers & rental companies that offer Tanglewood discounts (or you may choose your own). Rates start at just $1500.00/day and include sessions for engagement & bridal photos & rehearsals times; parking for 500+; limo golf cart and limo shuttle bus for rent on site.
