Hello, and welcome to Susan Hennessey Photography!
I'm a photographer based in New Jersey, specializing in weddings, engagements, maternity, and family portraits. I take a candid and lifestyle approach when shooting, utilizing natural light and looking for those moments when my subjects are laughing, rather than posing.
I've spent years in the photography world - first as a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and later in magazine publishing and photo editing. Now, I'm happy to have found a home behind the camera, and grateful to be doing what I love full time - capturing the moments in life that matter most.
When I'm not photographing a wedding or editing images from a recent shoot, you're most likely to find me watching reruns of Sex and the City, drinking craft beer, cooking a fancy dinner with my fiancé, and planning our own wedding.
