Chef/ Owner Terry Teplitzky and his team has been recognized as the Monterey Peninsula’s Premiere Caterer since 1983. We offer an innovative and creative approach to catering. Most importantly the Michael's Catering & Wild Thyme Deli team is dedicated to creating menus which showcase each couple's unique tastes. Chef Terry places high priority on supporting local, fresh, and sustainable companies. We proudly partner with community farms and are recognized as a partner with the Seafood Watch Program at Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Our Full Service Catering Team boasts a talented and professional staff including the area's finest chefs and service personnel. Our highly experienced event planners will oversee every detail with discriminating taste, leaving you free to enjoy your event. We have catered intimate parties as well as celebrations for thousands; in private homes and in all the area's most popular event sites. Our Express Catering Service is the perfect option for couples looking for a casual option for their welcome reception, rehearsal dinner, wedding, or Sunday brunch. This casual approach to catering in no way means that you will receive common drop off catering. Our approach to catering is simple, fresh, great quality food. Enjoy the evening with your guests without having to lift a finger. When your event arrives one of our staff will deliver your menu and set it up however you wish. Our beautiful trays, decadent bites and specialty entrees will entice your guests eyes as well as their stomach. Our express catering menus feature many of the same inventive dishes as our full service menu. Our catering team will help you plan the menu and offer you a selection of disposable chafing dishes and ecofriendly disposable dinnerware.
