Built over a hundred years ago and nestled in our 40-acre farm is The Little Red Barn of Nunica! This charming wooden barn, perfect for country weddings, is surrounded by a white-fenced corral, old maple trees and verdant fields lush with corn or soy. There are picturesque places for outdoor ceremonies surrounding the barn - by the majestic white silo, by the old maple trees or at the intimate fruit orchard. A lovely bridal suite and cool groom's room, air-conditioned during the warmer months, are located on the ground floor of the barn. Indoor (ADA-compliant) bathrooms, U-shaped bar, buffet area, loft for the DJ, dance floor, tables and chairs, vintage accent pieces as well as romantic string lighting and wagon-wheel chandelier, complete the set-up. You are allowed to use any outside vendors of your choosing, have use of the barn the day before to set-up and the day after to clean up. The owners, Tom and Cherry Schmidt, live onsite in the nearby farmhouse and are always available to help, guide and assist couples and their families!
