Established in 1920, Linwood Country Club has been the site of many families’ most treasured events for nearly a century. The rich history has been enhanced by recent renovations, including the addition of a dramatic entry foyer and luxurious bridal suite. The updated ballroom accommodates 300 guests, and a moveable glass “wall” allows for a seamless transition out to the tented patio area. Picturesque views of the perfectly manicured golf course against the Atlantic City skyline provide a scenic backdrop for photos of your special day. Combined with the culinary reputation of the Dougherty Family, Linwood Country Club is the premier wedding venue in Southern New Jersey.
Reception
A Linwood Country Club wedding includes a one-hour cocktail reception with a lavish antipasto presentation along with butlered hors d’oeuvres of your choosing. Your guests will then enter the ballroom for four hours of dining, dancing and celebration. The bar will remain open throughout your event, and we also offer wine service during diner and a complimentary champagne toast.
Ceremony
Linwood Country Club offers several beautiful settings for your wedding ceremony, including outside on the course or the patio or inside in a portion of the ballroom. The ceremony fee includes rehearsal the day before the ceremony and use of the Bridal Suite and Men’s Locker Room for the bridal party up to 2 hours before the ceremony.
Bridal Suite
The Bridal Suite is the perfect location to prepare for your ceremony or for a moment of privacy during your festivities. The richly appointed suite can accommodate your bridal party and features salon chairs, makeup counters, plentiful hanging space and a cozy sitting room to relax before or after your preparations. The most unique features are the three sets of arched French doors that offer a view into the dramatic two-story foyer. The Bridal Suite comes stocked with sparkling and still water, light refreshments and sparkling wine.
