Croix-View Farm is a historic wedding barn for couples looking to get married in the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area. This vintage country venue features an authentic barn space with wooden interior and chandeliers, in addition to an outdoor ceremony location. Couples can find this venue just across the St. Croix River in Wisconsin, approximately an hour’s drive from downtown Minneapolis.
Facilities and Capacity
As many as 300 guests can join couples in celebrating their wedding at the Croix-View Farm. Couples can host their wedding ceremony in the scenic outdoor site on this farm’s property. The setting is a quaint wooded area, with grass underfoot and mature trees all around. Sunlight filters in through the leaves of the trees and shines down upon couples as they begin their lives together beneath the white structure of a wedding arbor. Guests look on from hay bales or benches as the ceremony takes place. From there, couples can take pictures along the banks of the scenic St. Croix River, located only a mile and a half from this venue. They can also stage wedding portraits on the beautiful farm property, or with the historic barn in the background. This authentic barn, now used for events, is over 100 years old. Although the interior has been renovated to accommodate weddings and other celebrations, it still maintains many original features and all of its timeless charm. Wooden beams support the cathedral ceiling and sparkling crystal chandeliers hang down from the rafters. The floors are a polished hardwood, updated to keep everyone’s shoes and feet safe. This barn also features a built-in bar and a cozy country sitting area outside of the private bridal suite.
