Whether you're just starting to look or if you've got a good idea what you want, a good place we usually start at is talking about your vision for your day, how many guests, budget, out of town family and any specific wants and needs that will help define what fits for you. We pride ourselves on being very different from other venues in that we host a limited number of events and work very closely with our clients to help design a day that is exactly what they want, not what is merely a template or a formula, or "wedding package". Our clients appreciate fine food, customized rentals and the additional services and activities we offer that stand out above the rest.
We are an exclusively outdoor venue located on the Missouri Bluffs, just overlooking the Confluence, just 25 minutes north of central Saint Louis.
Our property is iconic, one of a kind; known for its gorgeous landscape, quaint farm, stunning rock garden and scenic vistas, as well as its secluded privacy. With a view from the river bluffs that is beyond compare, we have many different scenic backdrops for the setting of your ceremony. We take pride in ensuring that our weddings are relaxed, elegant and beautiful, utilizing the gorgeous open spaces for lawn games, luxurious cocktail hour layouts and for the evening celebration under bright shining stars.
The most often asked question we hear is “What are your packages?”. Most venues have 'packages', but we believe that the only benefit is to the venue. 'Packages' are based on the lowest food cost a venue can pay, and the highest they can mark it up to you; the consumer. 'The Reception' usually uses 48% - 50% of your wedding budget. If you like a venue, but their 'packages' are either too expensive, not the style you wanted, or can't be customized, you have given up control on the majority of your wedding budget, and you are probably having the same reception as every other client at that venue, most of the time. WE believe you deserve the ability to control how you spend such a huge chunk of your wedding budget, and furthermore, it should be at a price point that works for you and it should be the food and style of service YOU select. We have put together a list of vendors that we feel gives you the range, value and quality you deserve.
Our pricing is as follows: Saturday Event … $6800
Friday or Sunday Event … $6100 (excluded Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends)
Includes:
· Access to Kuhs Estate & Farm from 10 am-11 pm for up to a 6-hour event.
· Choice of several Ceremony Sites
· 40 x 100 Reception Tent for up to 250 guests (depending on Head Table). Tent includes a 20x20’ dance floor and perimeter lighting
· 20x20’ Catering Tent with walls and lighting.
· Enough electric on the property for Tent lights and a DJ.
· Deluxe R&R Portable Restroom Trailer with 3 stalls each side, running water, flushing toilets, heated or A/C and can stream wifi music
· Wedding Coordinator to help you or your wedding planner through the process of renting your tables, chairs, linens, china, etc. from Premier Rentals, our exclusive rental vendor, and to help you select and secure all your wedding vendors.
Options & Add-Ons to Packages:
· Exclusive Caterers and Bar Service providers to suit every taste and budget … from BBQ to delicious buffets starting at $15 per person to sit-down dinners and exquisite cuisine….or caterer/provider of your own choosing*.
· Preferred Vendors … DJs, Florists, Photographers, Videographers, Officiants, Bakers, even a Travel Agent … or vendors of your own choosing*.
· Vintage Chairs and Venue Décor available for rent from Vintage For the Day, our preferred vintage décor and design vendor
· Rentals, Tables, Linens, China, Barware, etc. quoted by Premier Party Rentals, our exclusive Rental vendor.
· Extended Tent for larger events or Tents in off season quoted by Premier Rentals, our exclusive Tent vendor.
· Additional Tent Décor and Lighting quoted by Premier Rentals .
Other things we do that our clients love is our in-house design ability, through ‘Vintage for the Day’. We’re here to help you infuse your event with the style it deserves. We specialize in custom event design, details, tablescapes, colors, lighting, fabric, structure and furniture to bring your dreams to life. Our pricing is completely affordable because
everything you need is already here.
As we are also a real working farm, we are able to offer some really fun additional services that can be added on to events.
