The relationship between me & weddings is one of passion; I adore talking about them, planning them, producing the floral decorations for them, coordinating them and forming a bond with the Bride or Groom.
The Faded Poppy creates unique & beautiful floral arrangements that are ahead of the curve ensuring client & guest expectations are exceeded and attentions grabbed. While bouquets themselves are traditional by nature, my creativity & energy inspire me to create arrangements that retain this at their core but which are organic, natural & individual.
In 2015 we provided flowers to 30 weddings from which we received extremely positive reviews from brides and compliments from vendors. Additionally, we have been published on a number of national & international wedding blogs.
Environmental responsibility is important so we purchase flowers from Virginia-based wholesalers and, in season, source from local farms as well as our own garden. Additionally, unused greenery & packaging is recycled.
Planning & day-of coordination packages are available where we offer a very personal service with our clients. We hold in-person meetings & vendor visits and, knowing our clients are busy professionals, strive to be easy to do business with by using collaboration tools, accepting online payments and partaking in several communication methods, ie: email, instant messaging & social media.
As well as creating relationships with our clients we believe it’s important to do the same with local vendors because we want to build community networks and be able to offer honest advice & guidance
to our clients when assisting with planning.
