Located only an hour drive from Springfield, IL - The Old Homestead Event Barn property consist of 5 acres. The large pond is a scenic backdrop of your ceremony while just steps away from our private home then over to the barn for your reception. Our historical farm barn of 125 years old with an additional shed added in 1976 - seats up to 250 people inside and few more under the awning. The barn awning or hay wagon can be used as a back up plan in case of rain/wind (always be prepared). Our place has many unique vintage items such as a tractor fountain, old truck, wooden grain wagon, JD tractor, and many other primitive items to use for decorations. We rent the place for 5 days so you have time to decorate. We are open to any caterer and DJ service. We will help make your day as stress free as possible.
